Message My Z makes a pretty quiet squeaking noise like metal on metal. I think its the brakes (pad to rotor some how), but am wondering if anyone thinks different.

The car does not make the squeaking when I am going faster then 45ish but once I am lower then 40ish it starts to make that squeak almost like brake squealers. If I turn the car left the noise goes away if I turn right or go straight the noise remains. It squeaks even when I am not on the brakes but once I step on the brakes it changes pitch and becomes slightly louder.

Is it brakes, or possibly a "drive bearing"? It may be possible that they squeak past 45mph but of course its impossible for me to hear when the wind is blowing by my head.

Just looking for some advice because I checked my pads BRIEFLY when I had it on stands (2 months ago) and they looked ok and had meat. I dont completely remember anymore and I wonder if the pads are installed wrong possibly.

Thanks in advance.
